Hudson Baylor has been in the recycling business for over 28 years and recycling has been its only business for the entire time. Currently HBC operates 13 locations in the Northeast and the Southwest with four additional facilities scheduled to come online by the fourth quarter of 2012. HBC is an independent Material Recovery Facility operator and has extensive experience in operating multiple types of recyclable material facilities including single stream, dual stream, bottle law and transfer facilities.  Hudson Baylor partners with municipalities to divert waste from landfills by receiving, processing and marketing curbside recyclable materials.

Newburgh and Fishkill, New York, February 10, 2009 - Tim Flanagan, Vice President of Operations of the Hudson Baylor Corporation (HBC) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the contract between the Hudson Valley Technology Development Center, Inc. (HVTDC) and the Environmental Investment Program (EIP) of Empire State Development awarded in October, 2006 for the expansion of the Hudson Baylor recycled fiber processing center at 237 DuPont Avenue in Newburgh , New York .

Hudson Baylor Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Over 200 guests joined hosts Scott Tenney, founder of Hudson Baylor, and his wife Patricia at the Powelton Club in Newburgh, NY to celebrate the first twenty-five years of the Hudson Baylor Group. Attendees included employees from each of the facilities in Arizona, Connecticut, and New York, their spouses, and customer and supplier representatives.

In July, 2007, HBC began processing the municipal single stream recyclables delivered by the City of Avondale, AZ, to the Hudson Baylor West facility at 1919 University Drive in Phoenix. The City and HBC worked out a signed contract for these services In September. HBC was able to help the City expand it’s collection program with the inclusion of glass as part of the single stream collection, which the HBW facility is able to process. Additionally, HBC’s ability to provide timely and flexible service to the City were cited by the program managers as reasons for choosing to work with HBC.
